Missing Shoulder is a hypnotic docu-fiction film that blends archival footage with falsehood. Through an unfinished exhibition, it follows Besnik, a former informant, and Arlinda, an artist, as they confront Yugoslavia’s ghosts, the disappearance of their son, their own complicity, and an endless stream of paranoia.
