In 2014, Jérémy was a young French sound artist preparing to build a career in music when a devastating road accident left him in a eight-weeks coma, severe brain trauma, followed by more

than twenty surgeries, rehabilitation, and permanent injuries including single-sided deafness, double vision and cerebellar syndrome.

Waking up to a body and a life he no longer recognized, Jérémy began the long process of rebuilding his mind, identity, and sense of purpose. In 2018, still fragile and far from fully recovered, he moved to Tokyo - not simply as a destination, but as the stage he choses for his rebirth.

More than a recovery story, MOON DUST is a film about the long road back to life. It captures the rare journey of someone who lost almost everything that defined his future, then spent more than a decade becoming someone new - not to return to who he was, and not simply to belong somewhere else, but to begin again with a wider sense of what his life could become.
