It is also film about the exploration and Italian adventure, illuminating the future of Italy's most remote islands and their inhabitants. The film offers unprecedented access to the personal stories of these island’s residents—an intimate journey often impossible for the average traveler. Viewers will embark on an extraordinary sailing adventure with Lucio Bellomo, a master SCUBA diver with a Ph.D. in oceanographic radar sensing. Lucio travels in a small, solar-powered boat with no cabin for over four months as he uncovers the cultural stories of these islands and ultimately finds purpose for himself.
