A man get lost in the desert with his dog. Suddenly, an accident occurs, and the man and the dog must find a way to save themselves.
Submitter Statement
Sogand Vatankhah is an animation director and student at Tarbiat Modares University in Tehran, Iran, where she is pursuing a degree in Animation Directing.
The Dog is her second short film, following her debut student work Home Kaboud.
Her artistic focus lies in psychological exploration and experimental forms of storytelling, often using non-verbal and tactile animation techniques such as sand under the camera.
