Submitter Statement
Enchanted Desire is a work born from my curiosity toward the relationship between love, death, and the unfinished emotions that linger between them. I wanted to portray how the human heart can remain restless even after the body is gone especially when love is unresolved. Instead of approaching this through tragedy alone, I chose to express it through musical storytelling, humor, and fantasy, reflecting how love can be chaotic, absurd, and beautiful at the same time.
Using The Sims 4 as a medium allows me to create a world where reality and imagination can merge freely. Music becomes the emotional language guiding the characters, while supernatural elements symbolize the desperation of holding onto love that is slipping away. The film explores the idea that affection is not always pure or gentle it can be messy, possessive, and irrational yet deeply human.
This project represents my fascination with the thin line between devotion and obsession, redemption and desire. Ultimately, Enchanted Desire asks a simple question:
If given one last chance, what would you do to keep the person you love from forgetting you?
