A massive family association gathers hundreds of people from across the country to celebrate their common ancestor: An Amishman named Jacob Hochstetler. Living on the frontier of the French and Indian War, this family’s faith is tested as they are attacked, kidnapped, and adopted into a new way of living that would change the family forever.

Submitter Statement

Under the Peach Trees is a very personal story for me. This is the story of my ancestors that has been passed down from generation to generation. I have wanted to make this a film since I was very young, and it's a privilege to be able to share my family's story with so many film lovers.

Eric Alan Miller is a two-time Golden Telly Award Winner from Cleveland, OH and based in South Bend, IN. He has been making films since he was in High School, culminating in a B.A in Film production from Goshen College in Goshen, IN. Miller was camera-op on the Emmy Award-Winning "Festival of Carols." He would go on to edit the award-winning historical documentary "Vital Passage." Mostly recently, Miller directed a documentary called "Under the Peach Trees."
