Submitter Statement

Lee E. Wells earned a degree in electrical engineering and then began his career in applied technology and telecommunications engineering. Later he built a film television truck and produced a four-camera live set for hire. This gave Lee a creative outlet to experience both his director and producer roles in a real-time setting. After selling his video company, he began his own podcast production and philanthropy efforts, which led to his first film to provide a documentary perspective on the largest wildfire in Texas history.
