Jan must take care of his mother, who is ill with Alzheimer's disease. He has no experience as a caregiver, but he will have to overcome challenges and seeks the best way to make his mother feel better. It's a story of family love, realistic and moving. A tribute to caregivers and Alzheimer's patients that has transcended into the social sphere. The short film "Paris 70" is based on a very personal experience of the director. His grandmother died of Alzheimer's, and his mother took care of her at home until the end. This disease is considered the epidemic of the 21st century, and by 2050, cases are expected to triple. It is truly a problem that needs social visibility so that governments invest resources in research. "Paris 70" is a short film that was internationally premiered at the Heartland Film Festival in the USA, has won an Honorable Mention at the Cleveland Film Festival, and has been nominated for Best Fiction Short Film at the 2024 Goya Awards. It is also the most awarded short film in Spain in 2023. But most importantly, the film has made a significant impact on the social and healthcare sectors. It has been screened at over 70 associations of Alzheimer's patients' families and hospitals throughout Spain. El cortometraje "Paris 70" está basado en una experiencia muy personal del director. Su abuela murió de alzheimer y su madre cuidé de ella en casa hasta el final. Esta enfermedad és considerada la epidemia del siglo XXI y se espera que en 2050 se hayan triplicado los casos. Realmente es un problema que necesita visibilidad social para que los gobiernos inviertan recursos en investigación. "Paris 70" es un cortometraje que fué estrenado internacionalmente en Heartland Film Festival de EEUU, ha ganado una Honorable mención en el Cleveland Film Festival, ha sido uno de los Nominados. Mejor corto de ficción en los Premios Goya 2024 y és el cortometraje más premiado de España 2023. Pero lo más importante es que la película ha trascendido al mundo social y sanitario. Actualmente se ha proyectado en más de 70 asociaciones de familiares de enfermos con Alzheimer y hospitales de toda España.
Dani Feixas is a director of films, documentaries, and advertising. He was a finalist for the Oscars in 2025 and has been nominated for the Goya Awards and Forqué Awards. His short film "París 70" (2023) has been recognized with more than 170 international awards and has been screened in over 300 theaters worldwide. He is currently directing the feature film "Reina de les fades," produced by Morena Films, A Contracorriente Films, and Noodles Production.
Regarding his education, Dani graduated in Audiovisual Communication from UVIC-UCC and holds a diploma in Fiction Series Production from the EFTI Cinematographic Center in Madrid. With 20 years of experience, he has directed and produced content for brands such as Samsung, Netflix, Amazon, Reebok, Honda, Stradivarius, Nestlé, and Damm, collaborating with multinational agencies, especially with the Yslandia agency in Madrid, where he directed audiovisual content in internationally recognized campaigns, like the Bronze Lion at the Cannes Festival. Additionally, he is the founder of the digital content and artificial intelligence production company, Astronaut Films & Brands. In the last decade, he has collaborated on social campaigns with various foundations, societies, and associations.
Dani Feixas es director de cine, documentales y publicidad. Ha sido finalista en los Oscars 2025 y nominado a los Premios Goya y Premios Forqué. Su cortometraje “París 70” (2023) ha sido reconocido con más de 170 premios internacionales y se ha proyectado en más de 300 salas de todo el mundo. Actualmente dirige el largometraje “Reina de les fades”, producido por Morena Films, A Contracorriente Films y Noodles Production.
En cuanto a su formación, Dani es graduado en Comunicación Audiovisual por la UVIC-UCC y diplomado en Producción de Series de Ficción por el Centro Cinematográfico EFTI de Madrid. Con 20 años de experiencia, ha dirigido y producido contenidos para marcas como Samsung, Netflix, Amazon, Reebok, Honda, Stradivarius, Nestlé y Damm, colaborando con agencias multinacionales, especialmente con la agencia Yslandia de Madrid, dónde dirigió contenidos audiovisuales en campañas reconocidas internacionalmente, como el León de Bronce del Festival de Cannes. Además, es fundador de la productora de contenidos digitales e inteligencia artificial, Astronaut Films & Brands. En la última década ha colaborado en campañas de carácter social con diversas fundaciones, sociedades y asociaciones.
