Submitter Statement

I’ve been making heart-warming family-friendly stopmotion films for a few years now, but I occasionally feel the need to get my freak on. CheeseMan allows me tap into edgier content and instant story karma.

Carolyn Gair is an award winning Canadian filmmaker with a degree in Classical Animation. She resides in Los Angeles as a writer, director & story artist winning both an Emmy Award and an Annie nomination. In 2023 she completed her first animated feature RETURN TO KELLOGG, and stopmotion shorts FLOWER, and FORAGE, which won Best Children’s Short, Audience Favorite Award, and Best Stopmotion at festivals.
