Submitter Statement

Director Polina Pivovarova grew up in Tatarstan, Russia and moved to Southern California during the pandemic to attend film school. Upon graduation, Polina finished her project about environmental expedition to the Far North. After working as a crew member on several projects in college, this film is her directorial debut. Polina stays in Southern California to work on a new environmental project about marine wildlife. Her main career goal is to direct a documentary films for a major production company.
